“I appreciated all the small touches you added”
November 16, 2011
Maria,
Please send my thanks to all the Sooke Harbour House staff for their service. The food was absolutely delicious and beautiful, and the dining room was absolutely breath taking. I appreciated all the small touches you added, such as bringing my favourite little mechanical crab in the room.

“We felt as comfortable and relaxed as we would have been at home!”
November 16, 2011
To the management & staff,
Ebony, Andrei, Karen (florist) and all others that helped in hospitality – THANK YOU!
It is not often that expectations are exceeded. There was not a detail that wasn’t perfect! We were relaxed from the moment we set foot on the grounds and truly felt special throughout our stay. What a treat! The food and service were unforgettable. We felt as comfortable and relaxed as we would have been at home! Details matter and you all certainly paid attention to those – ours – we will see you again!

“the wedding FAR EXCEEDED our expectations”
November 16, 2011
Thank you! Craig & I had a wonderful time; the wedding FAR EXCEEDED our expectations. The catering staff were wonderful, the bartender was outstanding, the food was incredible (the best we’ve ever had!), the ambiance amazing and Ebony and Maria’s help invaluable.
We loved our room (#4) and hope to be back next year to celebrate our anniversary in the same room!
We can’t thank you enough. Please let the kitchen and the staff know how pleased we are. Our guests came from all over the country (and other parts of the world) and they commented that it was one of the nicest weddings they had been to.
Many many thanks,
Jillian, Craig & Lacey.

Chari & Ellery – July 2011
November 16, 2011
I am excited to finally write about this wedding. Everyone involved, from Nichole Taylor Photography, Officiant Brenda Hay, Platinum Floral Designs, and of course Sooke Harbour House staff, was honored to be a part of such an important day for such an amazing couple.
The entire day was filled with personalized touches. Their heartfelt vows were followed by a short paddle to Whiffen Spit in a canoe Ellery made himself. If that’s not a personal touch, I’m not sure what is. It was a surprise for their guests and it was so romantic!
At the reception in the Summer Pavilion, guests signed a guestbook made by Chari which was full of photos of their adventures all over the world… and at dinner, guests were asked to write Haiku poems for the couple. Chari & Ellery had an amazing time, danced the night away, and most importantly they created memories of a perfect celebration with family and friends.
Congratulations Chari & Ellery!
We wish you all the best in your adventurous future together!
Congratulations Melany & Roy – June 2010
June 30, 2010
June has really made up for a slow spring with gorgeous sunshine and fresh ocean breeze. Gardens are in full bloom and the tides allow generous opportunities to sneak around the corner onto a secluded little beach for more photo ops.
Melany and Roy had just one of those perfect June days. We are happy to congratulate the couple and to share a few images:
Congratulations Melany and Roy! All of us at Sooke Harbour House wish you our absolute best and don’t forget to visit!
